چکیده

Abstract: Compressive imaging/sensing employing a random measurement basis does not incorporate the specific object prior information available for natural images. An alternate hybrid measurement basis is proposed that yields improved reconstruction performance for natural images. ©2010 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (110.1758) Computational imaging; (100.3020) Image reconstruction-restoration

EVELOPMENT OF ANFIS-PSO, SVR-PSO, AND ANN-PSO HYBRID INTELLIGENT MODELS FOR PREDICTING THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE

Concrete is the second most consumed material after water and the most widely used construction material in the world. The compressive strength of concrete is one of its most important mechanical properties, which highly depends on its mix design. The present study uses the intelligent methods with instance-based learning ability to predict the compressive strength of concrete. To achieve this ...

Compressive imaging: hybrid measurement basis design.

The inherent redundancy in natural scenes forms the basis of compressive imaging where the number of measurements is less than the dimensionality of the scene. The compressed sensing theory has shown that a purely random measurement basis can yield good reconstructions of sparse objects with relatively few measurements. However, additional prior knowledge about object statistics that is typical...

Optical architectures for compressive imaging.

We compare three optical architectures for compressive imaging: sequential, parallel, and photon sharing. Each of these architectures is analyzed using two different types of projection: (a) principal component projections and (b) pseudo-random projections. Both linear and nonlinear reconstruction methods are studied. The performance of each architecture-projection combination is quantified in ...

Communications-Inspired Projection Design with Application to Compressive Sensing

We consider the recovery of an underlying signal x ∈ C based on projection measurements of the form y = Mx+w, where y ∈ C and w is measurement noise; we are interested in the case l ≪ m. It is assumed that the signal model p(x) is known, and w ∼ CN (w; 0,Σw), for known Σw. The objective is to design a projection matrix M ∈ C to maximize key information-theoretic quantities with operational sign...

Multisampling Compressive Video Spectroscopy

The coded aperture snapshot spectral imaging (CASSI) architecture has been employed widely for capturing hyperspectral video. Despite allowing concurrent capture of hyperspectral video, spatial modulation in CASSI sacrifices image resolution significantly while reconstructing spectral projection via sparse sampling. Several multiview alternatives have been proposed to handle this low spatial re...
